Comments from Amazon:
I researched for a doorbell security camera and this AOSU is absolutely wonderful. The Camera Quality is crystal clear, works as it should, it was so easy to install, the design is clean. I recommend this AOSU door bell camera, and very affordable. Note: this particular one is power-charged.
Have had this for about 3 days and so far we really like it. Works well being wireless and out a memory card in it so we can record. I would say buy for sure. Easy to use. Picture is very clear and notifies you immediately upon motion. So far after the 3 days the battery still says 100%.
I've been using various AOSU cameras for a while now, including both solar panel (regular and panoramic) and battery-powered models. They all offer excellent video and sound quality, along with impressive night vision. Last year, I bought their doorbell camera, which has been great. However, I was particularly drawn to the new model because of its package detection feature and wide-angle view—two features that the pricier doorbell camera lacks. Additionally, the new camera's white color is more aesthetically pleasing and matches my house better than the previous all-black doorbell. Like all AOSU cameras, it's easy to set up, reliable, affordable, and cost-effective with its own storage. This new camera supports a 128GB microSD card, compared to the 32GB limit of my previous one. I highly recommend it.
I’ve been interested in a doorbell camera for quite sometime that was wireless. I purchased this AOSU Doorbell Camera and it is everything I was looking for. The picture is clear and has many features. Very easy to install. I purchased the AOSU Doorbell and received the package two days later the item was nicely packaged. I emptied the contents from the box and it came with a charging wire which I highly recommend charging the wireless doorbell before installing. While the doorbell was charging I went ahead and installed the AOSU app and it’s very user friendly. I turn the doorbell camera on and followed instructions to pair it with the app and it was fairly easy. I was then able to see that the camera was only charged at 68% and had a connection of 100% to my wifi. I went ahead and played around with the settings and paired the chime box with the doorbell and picked the sound I thought was the loudest. I went ahead and installed the mounting plate but I also purchased an angled mount since the entrance to my home does not face the front. I purchased an angle mount that was meant for other cameras but made sure the dimensions would work with the AOSU doorbell. I modified the mount by drilling four tiny holes on the angled mount and the AOSU doorbell fit right on.. Once the camera was fully charged I mounted the doorbell on the angled mount and tested it. To my surprise the video quality is very good. The doorbell circular light turns on when approached to be able to see it at night or during the day. The night vision is spectacular but I prefer color reason I turn on outside lights. A great feature is when the doorbell is activated the chime sounds off and my phone receives a call from doorbell to communicate with person at the door. That is just great. I also installed an 128Gb SD card to record activity and for no subscription needed. Overall, this was a great buy and highly recommend the AOSU wireless Doorbell Camera. AOSU has to be one of the best on the market! Update: After having to recharge the doorbell camera I moved on to find a solar panel to keep the doorbell charged without having to remove it every other week. I found the specs and purchased an AOSU 5w solar panel and I installed and connected to the doorbell camera. That's been over a month and now I haven't recharge the doorbell camera. It stays charged at 100% with solar panel absorbing sunlight most of the day. I did have to modify the dust cover seal on the doorbell to be able to close it and be able to insert the type c connector cable into the camera and it worked like a charm.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The AOSU Doorbell Camera Wireless is an excellent choice for anyone looking to boost their home security. Its standout feature is the head-to-toe view, which lets you see your visitors and packages clearly from top to bottom, a major improvement over many other doorbell cameras. The video quality is sharp, both during the day and at night, and the two-way audio lets you have clear conversations with anyone at your door. Setup is simple and straightforward, and the camera’s battery life holds up well. It integrates easily with smart home systems, offering real-time notifications and live streaming through a user-friendly app. With its reliable performance and responsive customer support, the AOSU Doorbell Camera delivers great value and functionality for keeping an eye on your home.
I recently installed the AOSU Doorbell Camera from Amazon at my home entrance, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This is another addition to my existing setup of AOSU cameras (see screenshot). First and foremost, I must commend the amazing customer service this company offers. I have contacted them multiple times in the past, even for minor concerns, and they have always responded promptly and resolved the issues to my satisfaction. This exceptional support is a major reason I continue to choose AOSU and add more of their devices to my home. The doorbell camera provides a 170° ultra-wide angle and a 9:16 vertical view, which ensures comprehensive coverage of my porch. I can easily see visitors from head to toe without any blind spots, and it even captures someone approaching the door from a distance. The 2K full HD clarity is exceptional, offering crisp and clear video quality that allows me to see every detail of what's happening at my front door, both day and night. One of my favorite features is the ability to record videos without a mandatory subscription. I can use a memory card to store recordings and access them directly through my phone. For those who prefer secure cloud storage, AOSU offers economical plans. The notifications and alerts are real-time, with a call triggered to the mobile app on any phone where it is installed. This is a great feature if you need to monitor the area closely to avoid missing any live push notifications. I currently prefer standard push notifications and was able to adjust the detection settings to reduce false alerts triggered by animals or moving shadows. The AOSU Doorbell Camera integrates seamlessly with my Alexa device, allowing me to view live videos from all my cameras simultaneously through the AOSU app. The two-way voice function is incredibly convenient, enabling me to speak to visitors in real-time, even when I’m not at home. This feature was particularly useful with my main door camera, where visitors had to keep their heads up to talk to me. With this doorbell camera, communication is much more convenient. The camera comes with a chime, a charging cord, a camera wedge kit, and an instruction manual. The initial setup was super easy, taking less than a minute with the AOSU app. The chime offers a variety of audio options to choose from. However, one recommendation would be to include all the audio options in the AOSU app to make it quicker and easier to select new bell sounds. Overall, the AOSU Doorbell Camera Wireless is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security without incurring ongoing subscription fees. It offers comprehensive coverage, smart detection features, and high-quality video, all while integrating smoothly with other smart home devices. I highly recommend this product for its reliability, clarity, overall value, and superb customer service.
Had a ring, didnt like the subscription based service with no other way around it. Ring stopped working out of no where a few weeks ago. Bought this Auso, and im austounded on the quality and wide viewing angle this camera has! This isnt hardwired like the ring, so you can put it anywhere you would like, and from other reviews it appears that the battery will last for months before needing to be recharged. Connection is 2.4ghz wifi only, and you will need a micro sd card, up to 128gb if you plan on not using auso's cloud subscription service. The camera will format the card(fat32) for you so no need to be a tech genius. I bought a lexar e-series(class 10, u3) 128gb for it. Camera connected easily and i had zero trouble setting it up. Ai facial recognition is only through the cloud based subscription, which i dont plan on ever using anyway(say you were getting robbed on your way into the house, since ai recognized you, it may not capture the crime, its detrimental to scenarios like that!) I can not comment on durability, but i will promose to update the review if anything goes awry. Pictures show the cameras coverage for comparison.
